Happy bones nyc menu3/15/2023 ![]() ![]() I'm ambivalent about coming back to this spot, since my experience was so mixed: the pros were that my drink was tasty and I ordered it quickly, but there was a lot about Happy Bones that didn't resonate with me. I got the smaller sized chai latte, yet I paid around $6 for it (excluding tip), so the price point was off for me. Don't let the photos on the Happy Bones website fool you: they make this cafe look spacious when it actually isn't, as you'll recognize in person.Įven though there was a line to order, I was glad that it moved rather quickly, because the staff workers were pretty efficient. It's a pretty small space with 3 low tables for two people per table. Menu was simple yet clean, and cups adorably designed they even featured special paintings in the cup during special holidays. I was here to network/chat with somebody and we had to go elsewhere because this place was packed on a Wednesday afternoon at 2pm. The exterior of Happy Bones is noticeable and attention-grabbing but not inviting: I was able to identify where this place was through its logo drawn on its chalkboard sidewalk sign. What we appreciate about this joint is the shop’s attempt to breaking down the elements of a latte to further the customer’s coffee education.This coffee spot didn't wow me and the mix of positive and negative aspects gave me a "meh" vibe. For a surprisingly affordable price, you receive a latte (served in a wine glass, we might add), a shot of espresso, a glass of foamed milk, sparkling water to cleanse your palate, and a wafer. Just when we thought offering Nitro Cold Brew in a snifter class was cool, we found out about the deconstructed latte offered at Coffee Project New York. With extreme appreciation for the craft, baristas take a dedicated and patient approach to serving the perfect pour over, which means you might wait a minute for your cup, but it will be oh so worth it.
